It all started with this. Days leading up to the event, I was craving for curry very badly especially fish head curry.
Hence after a “hard” day work for Lynda, she gave Amy and me a treat, and I chose dinner at the Banana Leaf Apolo Restaurant.
Located along Race Course Road, the Banana Leaf Apolo served one of the best curries in town. Beside the famed fish head curry, we also ordered a lot of dishes to share – to be specific, a lot of different type of curries – masala, mysore. Despite the array of dishes, my favourite was still the fish head curry – the fish itself was fresh and the assam gravy was a delight – light, sourish and packed with flavour.
Another good thing about the Banana Leaf Apolo was the free flow of vegetables side (cabbage and eggplant) and papadum. All of us left the restaurant with our tummies stuffed.
