the great thing about singapore airport is the number of eateries and shops that are opened in the morning.
for every business trip i made, my ritual stayed more or less the same – 1) change money, 2) breakfast at ya kun or wang and 3) shop around DFS till i forgot the boarding time and name was called ;p
recently i was told i am not to have any coconut based food (which thank god this ban has now been lifted), i proceed to order a butter sugar toast and kopi-o (black coffee) from wang. the butter sugar toast was mainly filled with thin slices of butter BUT very little sugar thus it felt that i am eating just butter. i love butter but that much and so early in the morning, it was gross. i had one slice of the toast and gave up.
next time, i will know better and stick with something else.
