after my yoga class, i am always famished. usually i will bring in some bakes for myself and de group. however since i do not go for de monday class (i usually bake on sunday; i can have all de time in de world (and kitchen) to bake), i was not highly motivated to do anything.
out of nowhere, i decided to get something done for de group. i wanted to bake something easy and fast and of course an energy booster. so i turned to my all time favourite – banana chocolate chip muffins (from king arthur flour baker companion). i have most of de ingredients at home – i just needed to grab some bananas and a bottle of milk.
its super easy to make. it took me an hour to prep and bake these muffins. they turned out nice and moist with a bit of bite (thanks to de wholemeal flour). de recipe called for very little butter, uses wholemeal flour and i also used dark chocolate chips. so they are pretty healthy too. most importantly, de yogis love them!
